DESCRIPTION
Little known fact about the Leuven Randonneurs is our profound hatred for “De Kempen”. Ewoud wants to prove us wrong and welcomes us to Herselt. But no worries he will search for the best “route dégradée” De Kempen have to offer.
For your own safety there will be no control in Herselt. We advise you not to stop in Herselt or to speak to locals. They have a tendency to give you a “djoef oep a bakkes”. Nevertheless … enjoy the ride.

Registration
We strongly advise registering beforehand on mybrevet.cc. Your brevet card will be available for pickup from 07:30 at the start.
Show up and ride is still possible, please make sure to bring a filled-out registration form and exact change ( € 6). Payment via Payconiq is also possible. Registration at De Vetten Os opens at 07:15. Coffee available at 07:00.

DISCLAIMER
At Leuven Randonneurs we consciously choose to go off the beaten track. This means that we make as much use as possible of the B roads. In the southern part of the country, these are roads that can be of poor quality (route dégradée). Think of potholes in the road, small stretches of unpaved road, cobblestones, etc. We are convinced that these roads are an added value to the route and the experience. We assume that every randonneur can assess the danger and adapt his or her riding style. We explore every ride with a bike with a minimum tire width of 23mm.
