DESCRIPTION

There is no doubt that Orval is the best beer in the world. To celebrate this excellent beer, we will visit the Orval abbey. If you’re fast enough you might have the chance to drink a “green Orval”. Ride out is at 02:00 PM so make sure you have lights and a reflective vest.

The parcours will be ridden clockwise (in 2019 it was counter-clockwise) and some sections have been changed.

We strongly advise registering beforehand on mybrevet.cc. Your brevet card will be available for pickup from 13:00 at the start.

Show up and ride is still possible, please make sure to bring a filled-out registration form and exact change. Payment via Payconiq is also possible. Registration at De Vetten Os opens at 13:00.

DISCLAIMER

At Leuven Randonneurs we consciously choose to go off the beaten track. This means that we make as much use as possible of the B roads. In the southern part of the country, these are roads that can be of poor quality (route dégradée). Think of potholes in the road, small stretches of unpaved road, cobblestones, etc. We are convinced that these roads are an added value to the route and the experience. We assume that every randonneur can assess the danger and adapt his or her riding style. We explore every ride with a bike with a minimum tire width of 23mm.

J’aimerais participer a votre BRM 400 et je ne comprend pas votre principe sur les controls pouvez-vous m’expliquer car si je roule de nuit j(aimerais avoir plus d’expliquation avant de me lancer

Bonjour Jean,

Free control / control question: lors du passage de nuit, vous recevez au départ une question de contrôle que vous devez résoudre à un certain endroit (question unique). Il est également possible de prendre une photo sur place ou, si un café est encore ouvert, de demander un cachet (contrôle libre).

La question est généralement claire. Il s’agit souvent d’un village ou d’une ville. Une photo où l’on voit quelque chose (et vous-même) de l’endroit est donc également une bonne chose.

Je vois qu’il y a un debut et une fin au control que se passe t il si on est pas dans les bon horaire es-t -ont or délaisinon que doit on faire si j’arrive or des heures indiquée

Les horaires d’ouverture et de fermeture sont conformes à la réglementation de l’ACP Paris. En principe, vous devez vous rendre au poste de contrôle pendant ces horaires. Cependant, nous sommes flexibles (mais dans le contexte de Paris-Brest-Paris, nous donnons ces horaires). L’essentiel est d’être à l’arrivée dans les 27 heures.
