DESCRIPTION
400 kilometres. Mostly Belgian. Slightly German. Completely unforgettable.
This is a ride for those who find their flow state on remote B-roads, where the surface is rough but the spirit is smooth. We’ll carve our way through the Ardennes, chasing horizons until we eventually cross into Germany, just to say we did.
No fuss. No crowds. Just the primal need to ride. Tap into your Prüm-itive Instinct.
Please note: ensure you have sufficient lighting. The use of a fluorescent vest (EN 17353:2020 Type B3) is mandatory from dusk onwards!

DISCLAIMER
At Leuven Randonneurs we consciously choose to go off the beaten track. This means that we make as much use as possible of the B roads. In the southern part of the country, these are roads that can be of poor quality (route dégradée). Think of potholes in the road, small stretches of unpaved road, cobblestones, etc. We are convinced that these roads are an added value to the route and the experience. We assume that every randonneur can assess the danger and adapt his or her riding style. We explore every ride with a bike with a minimum tire width of 23mm.
